对于美国知名游戏开发公司EA来说，在游戏中加入需要氪金的开箱抽卡功能已经是“理所当然”的一件事，因此受到玩家的抨击更是司空见惯。
而近日， 他们宣布在与国际足联合作的最后一部足球游戏《FIFA23》中保留开箱元素，一如既往的遭到了玩家的质疑。
对此，EA目前发布了一份声明，表示作为系列一部分的Ultimate Team玩法和对应的FUT卡包（即氪金抽卡）已经有十多年的历史了，这是玩家喜爱《FIFA》的一部分原因， 并认为它反映了现实中建立和管理球队的策略和乐趣。
