在车载动力电池市场，来自中国的厂商宁德时代，全球市占率高举第一，超越韩国的LG新能源和日本松下。并且，宁德时代电池的成本、质量以及核心充电方面，宁德时代的竞争力也同样十足。
7月1日，有投资者在互动平台上询问宁德时代， 是否有充电15分钟续航400公里的电池。对此，宁德时代回应：
公司有超快充技术，最快5分钟充电80%。
不过，目前市场上的电动车型，还没有搭载充电功率如此高的充电技术方案，宁德时代提供电池的车型，也没有适配该快充技术。
不过，6月23日，宁德时代发布了CTP3.0麒麟电池，在结构方面采用了创新工艺， 强化散热表现，支持5分钟快速热启动，10分钟快充。
