据彭博社报道，环球音乐集团表示，它正计划推出围绕知名音乐家 Frank Zappa 的 NFT 和 Web3 项目，以吸引新的歌迷来欣赏 Zappa 的作品。此前，环球音乐集团以未披露的金额从其家人手中购买了这位已故音乐家的遗产和肖像。
据悉，Frank Zappa 于 1993 年去世，在其四十年的职业生涯中发行了 60 多张专辑，并于 1995 年被追授为摇滚名人堂成员，于 1997 年被授予格莱美终身成就奖。
