You may say that it is just another VPN but with a different “branded” design. Well, no :-) While other VPN services such as NordVPN, ExpressVPN and others are being blocked in some countries, our one continues to work. Probably you’ll ask why. That’s because of the way we’ve designed it.

As the app is based on top of the publicly-available decentralized Sentinel blockchain network, it also means that we do not have any critical centralized old-school APIs like others have. For example, popular VPN apps are being blocked in Russia by their API being blocked. It means that the centralized VPN app itself is not even able to reach their vendor and fetch information about VPN-servers. Well, that’s not a case for us — we simply don’t have any. SOLAR dVPN have such APIs decentralized — there’s hundreds (or thousands already) servers all across the globe, managed by the community, helping our app to get information about available VPN-servers. And yes, talking of VPN-servers, those managed by the community too! So you can pretty fairly tell that SOLAR dVPN is a sort of a market of VPN-servers.
