OnePlus 5T Unbricking Tool
Hi guys, I followed all steps in the procedures so I've a "new" 7.1.1 phone that doesn't find updates in settings app and moreover doesn't update even with official OP 5T zip. How to update?
I'm assuming you tried to flash 10.01 directly after flashing 7.1.1 it won't work.
from 7.1.1 ->8.0 ->9.011 ->10.0.1
I'm in the same spot—it's stuck at the boot animation but fastboot still works. I just reflashed with the unbrick tool and it's still looping.
I fixed this! Disassembled, disconnected battery, inserted usb cable, got message about battery, connected battery, started!

And, in Win10 there is no "port" location in DeviceManager. Regardless, I can't get the device or Qualcom to come up in the DeviceManager. Maybe, there is a new tool?

Hey! Did you find a solution? I too flashed with the OOS4.7.4 Unbrick Tool which flashed the said 7.1.1 ROM. But now, unlike others, I cannot get any OTA updates. I am stuck on 7.1.1 and in Settings>System Updates it says "Your system is up to date"
im so technology illiterate and im about to bawl. i dont know how to do anything. i may as well throw it in the trash im so out of my element. im really feeling my age today.
You can do it! The procedure is pretty simple, watch the video it will help you. If you are stuck somewhere, just ask here.
I cannot get Windows to identify the port or my device while in Fastboot mode. I was trying to get back to a stock rom and after I wiped all the files my recovery was somehow messed up. So, the ONLY mode I can enter is fastboot mode.

Did you install all necessary drivers correctly?
