今天微博上有个科学方法提高英语阅读效率帖子很火。核心内容就是所谓的Bionic Reading。这一概念似出现于2019年前后，知乎上有人把它翻译为仿生阅读。
Bionic Reading is a new method facilitating the reading process by guiding the eyes through text with artificial fixation points. As a result, the reader is only focusing on the highlighted initial letters and lets the brain center complete the word. In a digital world dominated by shallow forms of reading, Bionic Reading aims to encourage a more in-depth reading and understanding of written content.
仿生阅读是一种通过人工注视点引导眼睛通过文本，促进阅读过程的新方法。因此，读者只关注突出的首字母，让大脑中心完成单词。在以浅显形式阅读为主的数字世界中，仿生阅读旨在鼓励人们更深入地阅读和理解书面内容。
大致原理是，在英语文本里，给每个单词的前几个字母加粗，就可以引导人眼迅速识别出单词——因为实际上，绝大多数场合没有必要把完整单词“读入”人眼，只需要一个单词的部分结构就足以让我们辨认出是哪个单词。略类似于汉语里的“打乱一句话的文字，我们仍然能一眼理解那句话的语义，甚至没有发现语序是乱的"这一现象。只不过正常印刷排布的文字，缺少视觉中心，现在利用特殊字体制造关注点，强行激活大脑的自动补全功能。减少扫描频次，变相提高录入速度。

关于这技术的主页→https://bionic-reading.com/。后面列举了一些手机上的 app 可以自动把文本变成强化关注形态，包括可能很多人都有在用的。每个单词的前半部分加粗，可以在 calibre 编辑器中编写一个正则表达式函数来执行此操作。
另外也有改变文字透明度、大小等操作，但似乎都不如上面的方法显著。
