任天堂在北美地区走到新的里程碑：Nintendo Switch累计销量超越PS4

Nintendo Switch自发布后一直保持畅销，任天堂也不需要通过降价等促销手段去增加销量，长时间的热卖甚至让不少地区甚至不时地出现缺货。此前任天堂官方表示，Nintendo Switch已经来到了“the mid-point of its lifecycle”。
近日，NPD Group提供了2022年四月份的销售数据，显示任天堂在北美地区走到新的里程碑，因为Nintendo Switch在该地区的累计销量已超过了PlayStation 4，摆在其面前的只剩下三款主机，分别是PlayStation 2、Xbox 360和Wii，且Nintendo Switch还能作为掌机使用。
任天堂近期也公布了2021财年（2021年4月1日至2022年3月31日）的财报，显示Nintendo Switch全球销量达到了1.0765亿台，软件总销量达8.2218亿份。Nintendo Switch在整个2021财年期间售出了2306万台，达到了2300万的预期目标，其中今年第一季度的销量为411万台。Nintendo Switch是史上第七款销量超过一亿的游戏机， 前六款分别为PlayStation 2、DS、Game Boy、PlayStation 4、PlayStation和Wii。
NPD Group表示，北美地区的游戏行业在这个月里表现稳健，玩家在游戏、配件和硬件上的支出为43亿美元，同比下降了8%，不过硬件销售额同比增长了16%，排名第一的是Nintendo Switch，第二的是Xbox Series X/S，受到供应短缺影响的PlayStation 5落后于竞争对手。游戏销售方面，排名第一的是 《乐高星战：天行者传奇（Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga）》，击败了这段时间以来的大热门《艾尔登法环（Elden Ring）》，《美国职业棒球大联盟22（MLB The Show 22）》则排在第三位。
