特斯拉 CEO 埃隆·马斯克发推称，收购 Twitter 的交易「暂时搁置」，因为正在等待有关支持「垃圾或虚假账户只占用户 5% 以下」这一结论的详细计算结果。
在他转发的这条推文中，马斯克提到了路透社 5 月 2 日的一篇报道，该报道称 Twitter 估计虚假或垃圾邮件账户在第一季度的用户中占比不到 5%。
马斯克曾表示，他收购 Twitter 后的首要任务之一是从平台上移除「垃圾邮件机器人」。
顺带一提，如果马斯克退出交易，他将支付 10 亿美元违约金。
