Your SOT looks accurate - the charts are a rolling 24hrs that shift by 3hr increments. Difference between the two photos is first 3hrs rolling off (~1:15 SOT came off) on the left and latest 3hrs rolling on (~1:14 SOT added) on the right.I think I am seeing a bug in the reported battery life. My screen time seems to be going down and then going back up again. At one point it went up to over 6 hrs on-screen time and then it started dropping again and going back up again. Bizarre behavior. Anyone else seeing this? Am I misunderstanding how this all works.

That said, your Screen-Off Time is messed up/has a bug…. Some rolled off the left, nothing was added on the right, and still reporting similar (and incorrect) screen-off time.
FWIW, I’ve notice a reasonable amount of mis-reporting of Screen-off Time (not a 13).

The issue is about the on-screen decreasing when it should increase.Your SOT looks accurate - the charts are a rolling 24hrs that shift by 3hr increments. And that’s what I try to explain. The issue is about the on-screen decreasing when it should increase.
Between your two pictures, you added ~1hour ~10-11am, which would show >6hrs SOT if you checked the graph before noon on 9/27. Then after 12:00 noon, you screen-grab the graph which ADDS 9/27 12-3pm (almost nil SOT) and SUBTRACTS 9/26 12-3pm bars from the first pix (> 1hr SOT). So on 9/27 at:
10:30am it will display 5:24 SOT
11:59am it will display ~6.24 SOT
12:01pm it will display 5:23 SOT
A 3hr window rolls on and off at noon.

I came from the SE 2020 and I had to plug that in very frequently the past 6 months. I could use up 50% of the charge on my SE by 9 am.
It's great not having to worry about battery life anymore for now. This is the most expensive out of pocket phone purchase I've ever made, but I'm very satisfied.

I took this off the charger at 7:07am. It is now 10:05pm. 65% battery left. I am certain that I could leave this overnight and get through tomorrow on the same battery. In fact, I am going to try it.

If the SOT is a rolling 3 hour period, how do I calculate how much total SOT I have used? And that’s what I try to explain.

I think this might be going back to Apple for a replacement unfortunately…
i will give you an answer in a few days. Switched yesterday evening from 12 PM to 13 Pro. Reason was longer battery and smaller display. Have been using the Plus size since 6S Plus because of battery and this is the first time the normal size iphone has a better battery than last years max.Any updates on 13 Pro (not Max) battery life? I’m curious about real life comps to 12PM.

Ok, it gets weirder… now my battery page is showing that reminders has 54% of battery usage today, with 1 minute of screen on time and no screen off time?! Plus you can see over 20% usage today for that small time… there must be something up with myiOS 15

EDIT: I just attached my MagSafe charger at 5%. Over the following 30 seconds, the battery drop to 4%, then 3%, while the MagSafe was connected. It is now going back up after 4 minutes, showing 4%.

Is this reasonable?
I would say based on other Pro Max results that is a little below par. Have you clean installed?iOS 15

Im one of them nerds who follows 80% - 30% battery charging pattern. For that very reason my year old 12 Pro Max was still at 100% Battery Health when I sold it.

Nah did a restore from iCloud from my 12 PM. Then did another restore from Mac to fix the unlock with Apple Watch bug.I would say based on other Pro Max results that is a little below par. Have you clean installed?
Will monitor the next few days and see if it improves.

I’m getting over 7 hours at the 50% mark, close to 8 hours, could be the way you use the phone, also cellular data drains battery quicker than WiFi.Nah did a restore from iCloud from my 12 PM. Then did another restore from Mac to fix the unlock with Apple Watch bug.
Will monitor the next few days and see if it improves.
