You can swap out the menu icon with any image or even font icon on the Xamarin.Forms Shell. This video quickly demonstrates both options, and introduces how easy it is to embed a cross-platform image using the Resizetizer library for SharedImage.

Nice video David 👍. I thought you going to set the "Build Action" property of the image to "Embedded Resources" but you set it to "Shared Image". When to use "Embedded Resources" and when to use "Shared Image"?
