据深圳市卫生健康委员会官方微博消息，2020年2月1日，深圳市第三人民医院透露，该院肝病研究所研究发现，在某些新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎确诊患者粪便中检测出2019-nCoV核酸（新型冠状病毒）阳性，很有可能提示粪便中有活病毒存在。
