新浪科技讯10月17日下午消息，高通今日在中国香港宣布，推出一款移动端5G调制解调器芯片组，并在28GHz毫米波频段上实现了5G数据连接。此外，高通还展示了首款5G智能手机参考设计，这也意味着，明年手机厂商可根据该方案，设计真正的5G手机。
