自苹果iPhone8/iPhone8Plus正式开卖以来，新手机“爆裂”事件接连发生。昨日，有消息称，美国又报告两例iPhone8系列手机面板开裂事件。消息称，美国纽约州罗彻斯特一名男子持有的iPhone8Plus在使用Qi无线充电座时突然电池膨胀撑开机壳。此外，知名网络论坛Reddit也有人贴出他父亲新收到的iPhone8Plus，开箱就发生电池膨胀裂开，结果也是苹果换新处理。
