新闻集团下属的道琼斯发表了一篇明显的假新闻，声称 Google 将以 90 亿美元收购苹果，称这个价格是乔布斯在遗嘱中设定的。Google 已在 2015 年改名为 Alphabet，而苹果的市值远高于 Google/Alphabet，没有人会相信苹果会以 90 亿美元的价格出售，而 Google CEO 早已不是 Larry Page。道琼斯声称这是技术错误。假新闻已很快被撤下。
