Purism 宣布与 KDE 合作开发真正的自由智能手机，将 KDE 开发的 Plasma Mobile 移动图形环境引入到它的 Librem 5 智能手机上。Plasma Mobile 已在多种现有的设备上进行了测试，但这些设备包含了需要私有软件才能工作的硬件。Purism 的 Librem 5 则是一款尊重用户自由的开放智能手机，该公司正在发起众筹活动，支持者需要支付 599 美元才能获得一部 Librem 5，众筹目标是 150 万美元，目前筹集到约 33 万美元。
