【财新网】（驻华盛顿实习记者 蒋梦婕）在拉斯维加斯发生美国现代史上伤亡最惨重的枪击案后，美国势力最大的拥枪团体罕见发声支持枪支管控，同时国会共和党也承诺审核枪支管理政策，此举有望推动美国枪支政策改革。
当地时间10月5日，美国步枪协会（NRA）发布声明，呼吁美国烟、酒、枪及爆炸物管理局（AFT）立即审核拉斯维加斯枪手使用的枪支是否符合联邦法律，对管控枪支的改装配件“撞火枪托”（Bump Stocks）表示支持，但强调禁枪不能阻止悲剧发生。
