近日，小米在校园招聘会上涉嫌歧视日语专业学生的言论，引发了日本媒体的关注。9月25日，日本朝日新闻驻北京记者福田直之以《中国智能手机大牌称“日语专业的学生可以走”，引发抗议并为此道歉》为标题报道此事。《朝日新闻》称，秦涛的言论引发了现场超过200名学生哄堂大笑，日语专业的学生愤然离场。报道写道，秦涛原话中的“建议你们去从事电影事业”，中国年轻人的理解是指“从事成人电影的拍摄”。
