Let's see how easy it is to secure a Kotlin web application using spring security. To start with lets create a spring boot application. I prefer maven so I have created a spring boot maven project and my pom file looks like as shown below. So, now the first step is to create a application class, if you have created a spring boot application from an IDE then it would already have the class(hopefully a application class in Kotlin) if not then you can create an application a shown below.
