HighPoint推出 PCIe Gen5 扩展卡：单插槽最高960TB 存储

IT之家 4 月 24 日消息，OWC 和 Apex Storage 等公司此前推出了多款 PCIe Gen4 产品，近日 HighPoint 成为业内首家推出商用 PCIe Gen5 解决方案公司。

HighPoint 公司推出了全新的 PCIe Gen5 SSD PCIe 扩展卡，采用全新的 Rocket PCIe Gen5 NVMe Switch 和 M.2 RAID AIC 适配器，最多可以容纳 32 块 SSD，单 PCIe 插槽最高可以支持 960TB Gen5 SSD。

该系列扩展卡主要分为 Rocket 7600 和 Rocket 1600 系列，其中前者针对基于 Linux / Windows 系统的边缘服务器以及高性能 PC 系统；而后者针对企业市场。

上述两个系列均采用博通的 PEX89048 PCIe Switch IC，基于 PCIe Gen5 协议，可以充分利用 Gen5 的 16 通道优势。

博通的 48 通道 PEX89048 Switch IC 提供 16 个专用 PCIe Gen5 通道，带宽高达 64TB / 秒，每个插槽支持多达 32 个 NVMe M.2 SSD。IT之家附上截图如下：
