特斯拉计划在得克萨斯州和加利福尼亚州裁员超过6000人，以推进首席执行官埃隆·马斯克全球裁员逾10%的计划。此次裁员包括特斯拉总部所在地奥斯汀的2688名工人，特斯拉在奥斯汀设有一家主要工厂。根据提交给得克萨斯州劳动力委员会的《工人调整和再培训通知法》（WARN）通知，裁员将从6月14日开始，为期14天。根据提交给加州的WARN通知，特斯拉还透露计划在加州多个工厂裁员3332人。
