Bugsmirror Interview Experience for MTS

Last Updated : 16 Aug, 2023

There were 4 rounds in total before I got an offer for 6 months of Intern + PPO

I saw an opening at Internshala and applied then my resume got, shortlisted, and get a mail from steps HR on further steps.

e interview is divided into 4 rounds:

Round 1 (Online assessment- 3hrs): given a task to design an HTTP JSON Go API for a student ledger application. The API has several routes like /login,/register,/viewCard,/updateCard,/deleteCard, /filterStudentByCourse,/updateGrade, etc., and they provide each route’s description and bonus points for error handling, API should be concurrency safe.

The scoring is based on code completion and code quality.

Round 2 (Technical 1- 30 mins): the solution submitted by us is been reviewed and crossed questions by the tech person of that company asked, why do you use this approach instead of the data structure you use what if we use this, then what will be the time and space complexity and discussed and code solutions to extra edge cases.

Round 3 (Technical 2- 30 mins): Senior engineer asked about the time complexity of all sorting algorithms and some Java security questions, asked Pillars of OOPS and SQL commands on join and select 2nd largest salary question, and lastly discussed the projects like what are things you are planning to implement and is it deployed and why you chose this tech?

Round 4 (HR): It was a 15 mins round. Asked what did you know about the company, and then a general discussion about my interest and related achievements.
