We’re excited to introduce Skyla—the ultimate customer service chatbot for Shopify merchants. 🚀

Background Story: A few months ago, over coffee, some of our friends who run successful Shopify stores shared their frustration with the considerable time and money they spent on customer support. The worst part is that they usually address the same queries over and over again. At that time, Lucien was working at Shopify, and we already had experience creating apps using LLMs like OpenAI. After researching the current solutions on the market, we saw an opportunity for innovation.

Our Insight: First, we noticed that many Shopify stores lacked a customer service tool. We evaluated the existing apps and noted that: * Either the tool is made for Shopify (like the “Shopify Inbox app”) and is very limited. * Or the tool is multiplatform, complex, and clunky (ex - Zendesk). We decided to fill the gap by creating a Shopify chatbot that focuses on user-friendliness and advanced AI features (powered by ChatGPT) - we called it Skyla 💪

What's different from all the other ChatGPT-bots? On the AI side, we went beyond basic prompt engineering. We’ve built pipelines that enable features like Q&A training, personality adjustments, topic classification, and sentiment analysis. As an example, Skyla can also authenticate customers, providing personalized responses regarding their order 🤯

What’s Next? We’ve successfully onboarded dozens of shops, including some managing over 10,000 customers. Their feedback confirms Skyla’s reliability and efficiency, and we now want to market Skyla further.
