I'm Mo from OpenCopilot. We are a team of four open-source enthusiasts, and we are happy to share our latest product with you.
I'm very excited about what LLMs can do. I got even more excited when Shopify announced their new product, Shopify Sidekick, and then Microsoft came out with Windows Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and many others.
So, I wanted to enable other SaaS products to have the same capability: an intelligent copilot that can guide users through your product, execute tasks, and provide assistance.
OpenCopilot allows you to build an AI copilot for your own SaaS product. It can communicate with your underlying APIs and execute tasks based on your users' requests.
OpenCopilot is: 🤓 Open source 🥰 Free 🔒 Privacy-first (you can clone it and run it on your hardware) 🧩 Supports swagger files and OpenAPI 3
Who is this for? 👉 Products that want to offer their users easier ways to automate challenging tasks using text instructions 👉 SaaS products that want to provide their users with a new text interface to interact with various product functions 👉 Basically, anyone who wants something similar to Shopify Sidekick!
We are actively working on many new features and challenges, including: 🕛 Chat memory 🕛 Critical actions: the copilot will ask the user for confirmation before invoking critical action APIs like delete or critical updates 🕛 Complex API flow definition: you will be able to instruct the copilot when to initiate a pre-defined flow that requires calling multiple endpoints to fulfill user requests 🕛 No more swagger files: you can define your backend API endpoints using the new UI, which will be user-friendly, interactive, and fast 💬 And we actively engage with the community through GitHub and Discord for new features.
