在人工智能成为科技领域最热门的趋势之际，该公司寻求筹集大量资金。Modular 的吸引力在于，它的软件可以为构建人工智能模型的公司提供一种替代方案，使开发者可以更简单地在其他公司设计的芯片上训练和运行机器学习模型，不用使用英伟达公司（Nvidia Corp.）昂贵且供不应求的图形处理器（GPU）。
