"Thanks for stopping by. What do you think of this product versus something like Linktree or even Squarespace / Wix?

Can you imagine what else an artist might need on their website?"

We wanted to make a website wizard for musicians that makes setting up a website much faster and easier than other page builders. It's designed exclusively for independent artists - helping them to create a professional web presence in just minutes without having to build a complicated website from scratch. Artists can set up rich media (videos, images, audio), links to all their releases online, their tour dates and all press info. It has a sleek look and feel with customizable widgets, flawless mobile response and dark mode. We like to think of it as an artist's 'digital home'!

I think this is a good idea but I don't think it's going to work as well as intended and here is why. It offers all the information a listener, or fan might want to know about an artist although it doesn't allow artists to incorporate their identity into their page. The overall feeling of the design and interface looks like a directory where you'd look through multiple artists pages to find something out, rather than being taken to this page from say an artists Instagram or YouTube pages.

I feel as though there needs to be much more design options available to truly make these pages feel unique and allow for people to discover similar artists whilst browsing these pages to make the content feel more valuable to them. I think it's a good start but I'm not sure how and when I'd use this to stay up to date with artists.

Perhaps there needs to be feed integration with other platforms so it can be used as a one stop hub for fans? Otherwise I feel this information is easily seen on Apple Music, Spotify & YouTube Music pages anyway.

I do hope this was constructive and your launch goes well.

@daniel_james20 thanks so much for this feedback, super appreciated. For the initial MVP our aim was to prioritize usability and ease of setup. We are definitely looking into customization options in the future so the page can better reflect the artist's creative identity.

"Perhaps there needs to be feed integration with other platforms so it can be used as a one stop hub for fans?" - Absolutely!

One of the integrations we did focus on was via the built-in release pages which allows a fan to access the artist's music on all digital platforms. We wanted this to be a springboard out to the platforms where artists can be heard and monetize their music. As well as the featured track widget which allows an artist to upload (even unreleased) music to showcase on their page.

I also think having 'suggested artists' is a cool idea so it can also fuel music discovery for fans. Cheers.

Really cool! Is this only for artists websites or also for any other kind?
@andreasmurk we did have artists in mind when creating this, we do have artists in mind when extending it. If you can make use of artist pages in any other way, please do! Also share the page that you created :) would be interesting to see what people come up with.
Is it hosted on a custom domain or a subdomain?
