it's possible for this phone but it's too risky u should use mtk client first to backup the stock rom then unlock bootloader using it which is much much safer than this stupid way that broke my device two times

yeah thats why i said that that tutorial was dangerous because i tried it my self before

try edxposed it's similar to lsposed and it should work + i think u just didn't install lsposed correctly go look for a tutorial on how to install lsposed module correctly i think u need another module called riru

yes i know and aware this kind of Xposed things but my phone isnt supported i have android 7.1 but it requires android 8 or higher both lposed and Edxposed thats why im asking for help how to do it instead

Thanks guys I tried the method from you and it worked until I installed the rom gsi, but I have a little error... Why after installing the havoc gsi rom my device can't run the adb program?

havocos sometimes glitches in the adb prompts for some reason, try lineageos 17 it's much better than havoc in term of lag

Alright, thanks for helping answer my question... I'll try it after I download it

Yes the bootloader was not present on the device before I installed the module

"adb reboot bootloader" would just reboot the device

After you install the module when you type the command the device stays on black screen (no text is displayed) unless you flash something or unlock the device

I would have added some photos but I was trying to flash gsi rom which bricked the device

So I will post them later today or tomorrow if you want

if i tried to hide dm- verity error using this fastboot module , will it work ?
+ need the link to download
(note that the error appeared after unlocking bootloader using mtk client tool)
++ my phone is oppo a5s too !!!

even if you tried to hide it, you still have the orange state error so you still have to wait. it's not worth it.

i can flash a file to remove this warning anyway
+ your signature got my attention, that user got the way to unlock the boot loader from my thread !
++ the same thread has the way to root oppo a5s
+++ that user made an argument with me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what? i made the original thread WAAAYY before you!? and that method is worthless now, we were desperate on how to root it so we had to do that. BROM mode really came in clutch.

Yeah i know
But all i did to root that device is unlocking bootloader + flashing a patched boot.img (Without downgrading) and it passed anyway

Yes the bootloader was not present on the device before I installed the module

Whaaaat
Do u mean BROM mode or fastboot
Because the screen remains black but files are flashed

but bro not working this method
i install
1) Root using mtk-easy-su
2) Install Magisk
3) Install ADB & Fastboot for Android NDK from Magisk
but i type commend.....
adb reboot bootloader......
ND mobile reboot show black screen....
then i commend type fastboot flashing unlock
i show error waiting for any device .....

but my install driver allready

Guys
How tf the phone gets black ( fastboot works with you guys) WHILE I JUST INSTALLED THIS FRICKING MODULE BUT NOT WORKING AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH

Bro just follow below steps...

1) search havoc os and go to the official website...
2) browse devices option and go for gsi and select arm64-a only the download havoc os plus aosp apps it will be havoc os v 3.12 (the file will be in .img.xz format so extraxt it using zarchiver so that it becomes .img)
3) after downloaded boot your device into custom recovery (twrp strongly recommended) and go to wipe < select system , data , cache , dalvik cache (if given) . Don't select internal storage!! Then go back and click install < install image and then select your downloaded image
4) flashing takes just half a min. Or 1 minute
5) after flashing completed click on reboot syatem it will or will not show "no os installed" ignore it and swipe to reboot
6) when u see the screen stated :- orange state android system on your device corrupted blah blah... Then just keep holding the volume up button until you see your homescreen it will take some time ( mine 2gb ram variant took about 5 minutes)
If it still doesn't boot and stucks on loading screen then hold all the buttons to power off device and then try the steps again ...

*** FIRSTLY I STRONGLY RECOMMENDED YOU TO TAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR CURRENT ROM BY ENTERING TWRP > BACKUP > SELECT ALL OPTIONS EXCLUDING CACHE AND SWIPE .... IT TAKES SOME TIME SO W8 THEN FOLLOW THE STEPS GIVEN ABOVE....

IF IN CASE YOU DON'T GET HOW TO FLASH THIS ROM YOU CAN CONTACT ME ON INSTAGRAM @_ankit._2332

To flash the recovery you need to unlock the bootloader first :- i have given a link to unlock bootloader which will work for you ( i used same method)
Check it out and unlock your bootloader:- (you will need pc if you have Windows 7 then use python 3.7.4 if win 8 , 10 or other you can search for your device)

Link for unlock bootloader:-

If you face problems with twrp version then the twrp image is given in this thread on first page download twrp and flash it using sp flash tool.
It has some bugs as sometimes the fonts get reverted and u will be unable to read the text so just press power button one by one two times and ther swipe to unlock it will be solved...

Have already given my insta id u can contact me if u have any problems...

Guys
I installed twrp
But i am stuck in a problem
@Anonymous V gave me a twrp recovery cor the same oppo a5s
It worked but cannot mount many partitions , what i remember is /odm /system /data , and cannot read /data and storage and /odm , but it can read system partition
My mind got Fricked

what? i made the original thread WAAAYY before you!? and that method is worthless now, we were desperate on how to root it so we had to do that. BROM mode really came in clutch.

U mean this current thread or an other one u made
Idk what are u talking about 🙂
