Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo released its latest high-end phone, the X90s, in China on Monday.
Vivo is promoting its latest phone, the fourth member of the X90 series initially launched by the end of 2022, as featuring next-generation wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and an upgraded processor MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus.
The new processor has higher clock frequencies for each cores compared to the vanilla Dimensity 9200.
The Vivo X90s features a 6.78-inch OLED display boasting a 1260p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, covering 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Its weight varies depending on color versions, but typically lands around 200g.
The phone boasts an in-house V2 image processing chip to fuel its triple rear cameras, which feature Zeiss coatings: a 50-megapixel (MP) main camera, a 12-MP 50mm portrait camera, and a 12-MP ultra-wide one. Additionally, the phone comes equipped with a 32-MP front camera.
The battery boasts a speedy 120W charging for its combined 4,800mAh capacity.
The Vivo X90s comes in a new cyan color, as well as classic red, black, and white. It offers three memory options ranging from 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The phone will be released in China on June 30th and priced between 3,999 RMB ($557.14) and 4,699 RMB.
