Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra have been launched. These devices are equipped with Snapdragon 7-series and Snapdragon 8-series chipsets, respectively.

As compared to predecessor models, the Razr 40 lineup offers the largest foldable screen. In addition, the Ultra model features the largest cover display ever seen on a flip phone. The Razr 40 duo also offers impressive cameras, up to 256GB of storage, and a big battery with fast charging support. Motorola Razr 40 specifications and features

The Motorola Razr 40 has a 6.9-inch foldable pOLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 2,640 x 1,080 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colours, HDR10+, and Gorilla Glass 7. It has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus support.

On the back, it has an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, which also works as a macro camera. The back panel also features a 1.47-inch OLED cover screen that offers a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and a 4,200mAh battery power the Razr 40. It comes with support for 30W wired and 5W wireless charging. The device comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device measures 7.53mm in thickness (unfolded state) and weighs 188.6 grams.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra houses a 6.9-inch pOLED LTPO display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 22:9 aspect ratio, a 1Hz to 165Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colours, and Gorilla Glass 7. It also features an autofocus-enabled 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The rear shell of the device has a massive 3.6-inch pOLED cover display that offers a resolution of 1,066 x 1,055 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. The two camera cutouts on the screen house a 12-megapixel primary camera with OIS support and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide snapper that doubles up as a macro camera.

Under the hood, the Razr 40 Ultra has the Snapdragon 8 Plus chipset and a 3,800mAh battery. The device supports 33W fast charging and 5W wireless charging. It is equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device weighs 188 grams and measures 6.99mm in thickness in the unfolded state.

Both models run on the near-stock version of Android 13. These devices are equipped with other features, such as dual SIM (nano SIM + eSIM), Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, an X-axis linear motor, a USB Type-C port, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and dual stereo speakers. The Motorola Razr 40 has arrived in three configurations in China, such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. These variants are priced at RMB 3,999 (~Rs 46,400), RMB 4,299 (~Rs 49,900), and RMB, 4,699 (~Rs 54,500). It can be bought in three colours, such as Infinity Black, Glacier Blue, and Viva Magenta.

On the other hand, the Razr 40 Ultra comes in two configurations, such as 8GB RAM + 256GB storage for RMB 5,699 (~Rs 66,100) and 812GB RAM + 512GB storage for RMB 6,399 (~Rs 74,200). Its colour variants include Sky Blue Asha, Bright Moon White, and Cherry Powder.
