Nothing continues to tease the Nothing Phone (2), now confirming chipset
We’ve already seen a couple of little teases and had confirmation that the Nothing Phone (2) is coming. Now we’ve heard direclty from Carl Pei a few more details of the device.
There has been a lot of discussion ever since we announced that Phone (2) will have a Snapdragon 8 Series chipset. Well here's some news – it’s going to be the premium-tier powerhouse Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. A clear upgrade from Phone (1). Let’s talk about the key differences

In the thread, Pei reveals the chipset to be a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and some of the performance benefits of the upgrade. These cover everything from camera, to battery life and outright user experience improvements.
Pei also mentions the need to prioritise user experience, over being part of the specs race. With the Nothing Phone (2) it seems, Nothing has continued to snap at the heels of the pack leaders, hopefully; without the price tag that comes with a bleeding edge flagship.
