而机构最新的数据显示，Model Y去年在全球共销售74.7万辆，同比大增91%，是销量第三高的车型。
从机构的数据来看，去年在全球销量高于特斯拉Model Y的两款汽车，均来自丰田，分别是RAV4荣放和卡罗拉sedan，前者销售101.6万辆，是去年销量唯一过百万的车型，后者销售99.2万辆，两款车的销量同比均下滑了10%。
考虑到Model Y是特斯拉旗下的畅销车型，产量也还在不断提升，销量在未来一段时间还将提升，在今年的销量也就将更高，如果保持去年的同比增长率，今年就将过百万。
Model Y也是特斯拉寄予厚望的车型，马斯克此前曾表示，他相信Model Y有成为全球最畅销汽车的潜力。虽然去年并未实现这一目标，但销量同比大增91%，并跃居全球第三，也是巨大的进步，距离成为最畅销的车型也更近了一步。
