Stand out with the stylish Acefast Crystal (2) T8 earbuds

We see earbuds and earbuds at iTWire, but never before have we seen crystal see-through earbuds until the Acefast Crystal (2) T8. Plus, it brings Bluetooth 5.3, IPX4 splash resistance, 30 hours of battery, and call noise reduction.

By nature of their size, earbuds are not something you ordinarily think of as stylish. Yet, Acefast has decided this doesn’t have to be the case and has released a novel and intriguing set of earbuds and carrying cases, that are transparent, come in a variety of bright colours, and also sound as good as they look.

You might not be familiar with Acefast; the brand came to life in 2020 with the goal of integrating research, development, and design of electronic products and is committed to improving the status of Chinese electronic brands in the global market by pursuing high-quality and practical products. In fact, the name Acefast was chosen to represent both ‘ace’ as in first class, and ‘fast’ as in speed.

Well, if the rest of the Acefast range - power banks, wall chargers, cables, car chargers and more - is like the Acefast Crystal (2) T8 then they’re certainly living up to their goals.

First things first, the Acefast Crystal (2) T8 is a set of earbuds so you want to be sure they fit comfortably and sound great. Happily, the buds support SBC and AAC codecs and come with Bluetooth 5.3. They are imbued with AI-based call noise reduction smarts to help both you and those you speak with reduce background noises. They are IPX4 waterproof so you are protected from sweat and splashing water including rain. You can wear them while working out or wear them outside without worrying about bad weather doing any harm.

However, they also stand apart by having coaxial dual-motion speakers and other higher-end components that make the buds deliver outstanding sound. These coaxial speakers allow a wider field of listening and reproduce a larger range of audio frequencies from a single unit. Coaxial speakers contain the same types of drivers found in component speakers but are combined to save space, meaning a larger coaxial speaker can fit into the tiny buds. In this unit, iTWire found the speakers delivered surprisingly loud volumes and clear bass.

You can operate them with touch controls to answer calls or switch music without needing to handle your phone, and the box includes different size silicon ear caps to help you find the right fit for your ears.

The earbuds themselves will run for around seven hours before needing charging and in conjunction with the included charging carry case you have a total playtime of 30 hours before needing to recharge the case too.

Normally, this is where a discussion of earbuds would end, but it’s impossible to talk about the Acefast Crystal (2) T8 earbuds without referring to their stunning looks. The earbuds, and the case, come in vibrant colours and are transparent so you can see the internal gadgetry. It’s quite fascinating and entrancing and is sure to attract attention. The case also provides a cool atmospheric light and an innovative 3D LED digital display which both looks good and take all guesswork away completely about your case’s battery level.

iTWire tried out the mint green buds pictured here, but you can also choose alfalfa purple, bright black, ice blue, lotus pink, or white moon.

Some caveats: the earbuds do not include active noise cancellation or multipoint pairing, and the case does not support wireless charging. However, if you don’t need those features - after all, cabled USB-C charging overnight isn’t really a burden - then there’s no sense paying for them.
