During a presentation on Tuesday at the Shanghai Auto Show, Li Auto Inc presented a general battery electric roadmap and disclosed its intentions for autonomous driving.

In terms of self-driving cars, Li Auto (LI) anticipates releasing its city NOA for beta testing in this quarter's full-stack self-developed Li AD Max 3.0. By the end of the year, the EV startup hopes to have 100 cities countrywide covered. The Li AD Max 3.0, according to the Changzhou-based business, will be able to operate without the use of highly accurate maps and, more crucially, will be able to perceive, choose, and plan in real-time like a human driver.

Additionally, Li Auto (LI) unveiled their 800-volt quick charging system, claiming that it enables BEVs to reach a 400-kilometer driving range after only a 10-minute charge. By 2025, Li Auto  wants to have a model lineup that includes one super flagship car, five EREVs, and five HPC BEVs.

Seperately, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited and Li Auto established a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement. As of now, Li Auto anticipates that its first electric vehicle would include 4C-rate Qilin batteries from CATL, making it the first mass-produced model of its kind.

Li Auto lags behind domestic competitors in terms of autonomous driving deployment, the company is trying to attract customers with its assisted driving technology.

Its rival such as Xpeng, which listed on both Hong Kong and New York stock exchange, has been working on improving its ability for autonomous driving, It has been actively building additional products based on its EV technologies since 2020, such as a flying automobile and a robotic pony, in order to build an ecosystem that would completely meet people's transportation needs.
