Close the Loop from Engineering Information, Master Data, and Maintenance Strategy to Execution – Workshop 3 at the International SAP Conference for Energy

The energy industry is becoming increasingly focused on asset-intensive operations and maintenance. As a result, efficient management of engineering information, master data, and maintenance strategy is becoming more important for optimizing successful operations. However, for many companies, these pieces of the puzzle don’t always line up to provide a consistent, reliable outcome.

In today’s energy industry, engineering information, master data, and maintenance strategy are all essential components of asset-intensive operations and maintenance. In order to ensure that the entire process is effective and efficient, these individual pieces must be integrated. Unfortunately, many companies have difficulty in creating an ideal system that allows for the seamless circulation of data between these key elements.

At this workshop, attendees can learn how to best leverage their existing engineering data to create an effective flow of information that allows for a comprehensive view of their assets.  By understanding how to create a comprehensive link between engineering information, master data, and maintenance strategy, attendees will acquire the knowledge and resources to take their asset-intensive operations and maintenance to the next level.

The workshops typically include short demos and presentations to help participants understand the best practices for making the transition from data components to a fully integrated system.  At the same time, attendees are encouraged to share their own experiences and ask questions to gain an even more comprehensive understanding of the process. This helps to ensure that all parties come away from the workshop with a deeper understanding of the technology, processes, and mechanisms required to build successful asset-intensive operations and maintenance.
