新加坡 MAS 主席：监管机构不应将“纯粹投机”的加密活动合法化
据雅虎财经报道，新加坡金融管理局 (MAS) 主席 Tharman Shanmugaratnam 在世界经济论坛达沃斯 2023 年会议上表示，在加密货币交易所 FTX 崩溃后，监管机构不应将加密市场中的“纯粹投机”活动合法化。如果我们以与监管银行和保险公司相同的方式监管加密货币，这是否会使本质上纯粹是投机性的、事实上有点疯狂的事情合法化？
Shanmugaratnam 补充说，有些事情非常清楚，无论是加密货币还是传统金融，你都必须对洗钱等事情进行监管。其他小组成员一致认为，加密货币领域迫切需要传统形式的监管，以防止洗钱和其他非法活动。
