Progressive people resources for progressive startups
The People Success Resource Kit
Progressive people resources for progressive startups
Hey, this is Abhishek from Plum. Thanks @kevin for hunting us 🙏
We've been building Plum for three years now, and our product gives us the chance of witnessing firsthand how some of India's most progressive startups bake in a culture of care baked from day one.
There is no doubt that India's startups are willing to go above and beyond to do right by their team.
However, I believe this is just the beginning of something bigger. A culture of care needs to be synonymous with India's startup ecosystem. For that to happen, it needs to transcend everything we do – policies, benefits, perks, and communication.
The People Success Resource Kit is our first step in that direction: https://www.plumhq.com/hr-templa...
After careful introspection, we came up with 25+ resources that we think reflect our identity as a progressive employer. In the spirit of paying it forward, we're making this repository public, along with all our documented research and inspiration.
This is a living, breathing resource. We will constantly update it as we learn and grow, and we'd love to learn from you.
If you have any feedback, recommendations, or anything you think other people leaders will find useful, tell us about it in the comments.
Hello, world glad to present the People Success Resource Kit to you. @abhishekpoddar has said it all. I wanted to write a post with bullet points about this, but figured I'd do it in poetry:
One day, we wondered where does one go for writing words in comms and memos
Did downloaded templates really spark joy Or were they devoid of emotions lifeless, and annoyed
If a culture of care is supposed to transcend all then my feedback email really dropped the ball
So that day, we decided that enough was enough delighting our team shouldn’t be so tough
After talking to our people team we got together to write Empathetic employee comms All designed to delight
We also recorded what we learned from some of the finest Among them included Meesho, Obvious, and Doist
That’s when we realized We couldn't have done this without them All their efforts walked So that our efforts could run
If a culture of care is supposed to transcend all then it must be accessible sans boundaries and company walls
So today, we made the decision to make this collection open-source Duplicate, build on it, share feedback for this is everybody’s resource.
Let us know what you think!
