Hi, I have a serious problem. I downloaded an update for my car stereo from the xy auto site. The file is "xyauto_ui2_en_9218-ota-20200610". Now it keeps restarting... videos attached. I don't know what to do. I'll try disconnecting the car battery for a while. Thanks to whoever can help me.

Salve, ho un problema serio. Ho scaricato un aggiornamento per l'autoradio dal sito di xy auto. Il file è "xyauto_ui2_en_9218-ota-20200610". Ora continua a riavviarsi... in allegato i video. Non so che cosa fare. Proverò a staccare la batteria dell'auto per un po'. Grazie a chi potrà aiutarmi.

Did you get this file from the folder with firmware 8.1 or 9.1/10?
I think only the same version (in this case 8.1) can be uploaded via 'android upgrade'.
You can try upload 8.1 firmware with this method
XY-AUTO-INSTALL-ROM-WITHOUT-PC

For upgrade to higher android version like 9.1/10 you need to flash a newer preloader, but you'll need a usb cable and a laptop/pc to use SpFlashTool app to upgrade.

Ovviamente 8.1. ci sono 3 cartelle. Credo sia la cartella ui2.
È partito l'aggiornamento...penso che se era sbagliato non sarebbe iniziato. Come ci fosse stato un blocco di aggiornamento. E poi non si è riavviato più nemmeno con la normale versione

Obviously 8.1. there are 3 folders. I believe it is the ui2 folder.
The update has started...I think if it was wrong it wouldn't have started. Like there was an update block. And then it didn't restart again even with the normal version

I already know that 'android upgrade' is picky sometimes. It didnt want to upload an upgrade, when the same upgrade was successfully uploaded via spflashtool.
So if uploading another release doesn't help you, try spflashtool.

Hi,

This is my android head unit info. It says android 11 but adding my google account revealed it was android 8. My main issue with it is that it sounds terrible plus it's abit slow. Does anyone have a solution for it?

Memory RAM also may be fake, as i've read that 8227 cpu support only up to 2GB RAM Memory.
You can check your real hardware info with an android app like Device info HW or some other apps.
Xyauto manufactuer of HeadUnits like in this tread provide only android from 6(fake8.1) up to android8.1(fake 10).
So if you have (fake)android 11 you probbably have some other manufacturer. And that's probably JUNSUN

Damn these manufacturers are craftier than i thought. It's really annoying to see what lengths they go to just to fake specs.

Is it worth to root and or flash a different software to this screen or should I just leave it as is?

Edit: thinking about it now it makes sense that the ram is fake cuz whenever i launch more than 2 or 3 apps the head unit closes other apps.

sorry ich bin neu hier und kenne mich da garnicht aus , das radio startet ja aber quer (bildschirm ) canbus einstellung sind weg und wenn ich eine neue frimware raufspielen will vom usb (ota ) sagt er fehler neu versuchen

Where did you get last firmware from?

@air32 I'm guessing that's your 'testpoints' as I marked on your pic.

I haven't seen this type of model yet, so I'm not 100% sure about this Mine looked a bit different, but i remember that someone frome here had similar board layout like yours.
