美国联邦航空局发布声明称，美东时间11日凌晨3点28分（北京时间今天下午4点28分）， NOTAM（Notice to Air Missions，航行通告）系统突然中断无法更新，导致美国境内航班受影响。
据央视新闻最新报道，根据航班信息追踪网站FlightAware的数据， 截至当天下午3时，美国境内有8609架次航班被延误，1251架次航班被取消。
大量旅客受到影响，不得不在机场等待数小时。
联邦航空局美国东部时间上午6时30分左右宣布空中任务通知系统发生故障，8时50分左右宣布故障排除，取消了暂时限飞令，但航班的延误和取消数量在持续增加。
