微软的Windows操作系统虽然正式版售价不菲，国内都要上千元，但实际上很多人都是免费升级的，所以微软近年来有尝试在Win11中多加点广告，去年底Win11开始菜单中就出现推荐网站的广告，结果被狂喷，微软不得不撤回修改。
去年11月底发布的Windows 11 build 25247中，
微软出人意料地在开始菜单中塞广告了，增加了网站推荐功能。
微软这个尝试遭到了用户的大量反对，而且被多家媒体批评为微软最糟糕的想法之一。
看到大家的反对这么强烈， 微软在最新的Windows 11 build 25272中撤回了这个功能， 开始菜单中不再有推荐网站之类的广告了。
