Arlo to discontinue support for some older security cameras
• Arlo is implementing a new end-of-life policy for its products.
• The first products to be affected are the Generation 3 (VMC3030) and Pro (VMC4030) cameras, released in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
• Starting on April 1st, 2023, these two models will lose access to the seven free days of cloud storage Arlo bundles with its cameras.
• They will also be the first models to stop receiving firmware and security updates, as well as bug fixes.
