MacOS Ventura hangs very often on M1 Max MacBook Pro
I have a 2021 16 inch MacBook Pro configured with M1 Max and 32 GB RAM.
I have MacOS Ventura 13.1
I get hangs which can last between 1-4 seconds very, VERY often. Sometimes (but not always) the beachball appears as well.
I think it might be caused by Xcode, but I am not sure. I have noticed the issue can be easily reproduced by creating a new file in Xcode. Then the system hangs for a couple of seconds.
But I am getting these lags in other applications as well, e.g. when scrolling in Firefox, when writing a message in Slack. But I do have Xcode open at all times - as I am a developer.
Has anyone noticed this issue before? It's driving me crazy.
