8 AI Tools That You Can Use RIGHT NOW to Supercharge Your Design
Artificial Intelligence has shone a light on the future of UX Design, and whilst we are only in it’s infancy, there are already many incredible projects being worked on that signal the new era of AI innovation!
In this article we’re going to have a look at some of the most interesting (and useful) AI tools that you can utilise right now!
#1 Design Assistant — Adobe Sensei
If you’ve not seen this one before then you’ll definitely be impressed. Adobe Sensei is working at the forefront of AI powered assistance for the design world, something many did not expect to see into the future — But it’s here already! Sensei has proven to massively speed up manual processes in many cases of the design process, definitely give it a look!
#2 Development Assistant — Github Copilot
Github’s Copilot is another AI powered assistant that absolutely fascinates me as somebody currently upskilling in coding, and what could be a better assistant than one trained on BILLIONS of lines of code? This is a superspeed hack for any developer.
#3 Prototyping — UiZard
UiZard is a program I hear about every now and again, and whilst I cannot say that I have personally used it, I’m fascinated by it nonetheless. With the recent discussion about AI changing the world of design, particularly with Dall E, I can see projects like UiZard taking the spotlight here!
#4 Ideation — Dall-E 2
Of course I couldn’t speak about Ai and not mention Dall E 2, an incredible project that honestly speaks for itself. If you’ve not heard of it before, do yourself a favour and have a play with it (if you want your mind blown, of course).
#5 Copywriting — Jasper
I’ve always been a bit of a writing and language nerd, but blocks are impossible to avoid from time to time, well, less so now with innovations like Jasper which can produce some seriously incredible copywriting. Personally I’ve used tools like Jasper to come up with new ideas for blog posts, or even catchy titles, and I can attest to their capability!
#6 Nocode — Fronty
Nocode has increasingly become the ‘big thing’ in the tech world, and only continues to prove its validity year on year. Recently I came across Fronty, which turns your designs straight from an image into HTML & CSS — That’s cool and I can’t even pretend it’s not, when I was younger I could not imagine something like that existing.
#7 User Testing — Visualeyes
User Testing and Research is almost always a part of the designers work process, to some degree, and I’ve always found heatmapping to be a really interesting method of research since reading Don’t Make Me Think
#8 Colour Palettes — Khroma
It only takes a few minutes to train this AI to build out endless colour palettes based on your preferences, saving a lot of time usually better spent in the design process!
In Summary
With the new shift in the way we design, we’ll see more and more tools that adapt our methods and thinking in way that seemed impossible, or were not even considered before — We will become creators who use AI as an assistant to take our ability to a level unseen before, and to solve the problems of tomorrow.
