What is Kapsule? Kapsule (short for time capsule) is a social media app that allows users to record and share video messages with anyone in the future.

How does it work? Video messages (called Kapsules) are uploaded and preserved securely in the cloud and delivered to their recipients months, years, or even decades in the future. Kapsule is the first app designed to outlive its creators and connect the world: past, present, and future.

Why did I build this? I originally built Kapsule for my son Ryan, as a way to communicate with him in the future - even if I wasn’t alive to deliver the messages myself. But what started out as a labor of love quickly grew into what you see today in less than 💯 days. Every line of code, every pixel was created by me for him.

Ryan, one day you’ll be reading this. Just know that I love you and that I did all of this for you. My only wish is that I made you proud of me. I love you buddy.
