11月16日，谷神星一号一箭五星发射成功，这不仅是民营火箭的巨大胜利，同时发射升空的5颗卫星也是长光卫星旗下的“吉林一号”系列产品，帮助“吉林一号”卫星实现75颗卫星组网。
据介绍，这次发射成功的“吉林一号”高分03D08、高分03D51—54等5颗卫星均是长光卫星公司自主研发的轻小型高分辨率光学遥感卫星。
该系列卫星采用了载荷平台融合设计的理念，具有低成本、低功耗、低重量、高指标的特点，
其重量和成本约为第一代卫星的十分之一，每颗只有40公斤左右。
“吉林一号”卫星的目标是2025年完成二期建设，总计有300颗卫星组网，现在75颗正好完成了1/4的任务，这个过程用了7年，不过剩下3/4的任务只需要3年左右即可。
