据NASA官方消息，
“阿尔忒弥斯1号”登月火箭任务预计于北京时间11月16日14时4分（美东时间11月16日凌晨1时4分），在肯尼迪航天中心LC-39B平台发射升空，发射窗口2小时。
这是一次绕月不载人飞行测试，为阿尔忒弥斯2号载人绕月，阿尔忒弥斯3号载人登月做准备。
阿尔忒弥斯1号任务时长25天11小时36分，如果顺利发射的话，猎户座飞船预计于2022年12月11日溅落在圣地亚哥海岸，整个航程大约210万公里。
在这次之前，阿尔忒弥斯1号因为天气、燃料泄露等原因连续推迟了数次。
