Android Wear OS/Galaxy Watch: After rooting and installing Global ROM-ify Magisk module cited by @AndroPlus in Post #5, I was able to set up both my Galaxy Watch 5 and 4 classic with no issues. Notifications flow in, and connection is nice and stable. Prior to rooting, I would get the message that said that Android Wear was not supported in my region (due to the region flag for Chinese ROM). All features are working including logging in to Samsung Account etc. Just be sure to unrestrict battery optimization for both the Galaxy Wearable App AND the respective plugin for your watch.
Sorry to post fragmented information in a single forum, but until we get a dedicated forum for Mi Mix Fold 2 (which as mentioned earlier does not look like it is happening), this is the best we have to work with.

VoLTE: I can confirm that the method described on this thread here works for enabling VoLTE. As a disclaimer, I am on the ROGERS network in Canada in a 5G dense area (i.e. it is not difficult to catch the 5G signal). I have not been able to use VoLTE thus far. After rooting and installing the linked Magisk module, VoLTE turned on automatically. No guarantees where it will work, but just sharing the experience for those who may be interested in VoLTE such as @frcraig etc.

Does everyone get data dropping from 5g down to LTE+ down to LTE? Im on TMobile in the US in the bay area and my phone will connect to 5g on boot then quickly transfer to LTE. If I use dialer to force NR only, it will go to 5g but that setting resets itself often and will resort back to LTE. Anyone have a fix? 5G is available in my area

I finally got rooted tonight after being able to unlock. I keep googling and searching where can i get this module at?

I'm wondering if anyone has solutions to these issues:
Split gboard only activating in "landscape" in "portrait" it stays as a standard mobile keyboard
Split apps is just broken tbf, when they are split horizontally they display like mobile apps but when split vertically they display like tablet apps which is the opposite of how it should be.
It seems like there is some issue where the phone being vertical makes it register as a phone rather than a tablet or foldable like it should and then opposite way when it is horizontal it sort of forces tablet mode in some apps as you can see in the attached screenshots showing horizontal/vertical app splitting. The Reddit app displaying these issues is infinity for anyone curious but I have noticed the behaviour on others.

The globalify module was made by androplus and you can find it here: https://github.com/AndroPlus-org/magisk-module-miui-cn2global

This is all I have. There are quite a lot of MIUI customisation modules for LSposed but I haven't seen more than a handful on magisk so I would recommend checking there and getting a custoMIUIzer fork that works with miui13.

Regarding OTA updates , if phone is rooted and Android Auto is installed , what happens to AA if an firmware update is available , is it possible to update OTA and keep AA and root ?

I keep reading but how do we go about hiding the LSposed app from being recognized by banking apps, etc that don't allow root? xposed is easy, but now they are saying I have LSposed installed and I see no way to hide

Finally got my hands on a Mix Fold 2!
Good lord Xiaomi MiUi is the most convoluted bloated OEM UI SKIN I've come across! It's a mind field to get the western apps notifications, default status etc... working but in the end got them all working as normal, no problem, no rooting needed either.
Uninstalled pretty much all of the Chinese bloatware apps, only handful system apps remain as they can be uninstalled.
One needs a lot of patience and perseverance to get these Chinese only phones working close to normal as a western phone!!
Anyhow for me it was worth it, really impressed, the hardware wise in IMHO is on another level to Galaxy Z Fold 4, crease is subtle and actually I think the inner screen with AR is better than Samsungs, this what the Fold 4 should have looked like!
I've owned both Galaxy Z Fold 2 and 3 and yes software wise Samsung is way ahead of the pack but I would take the Xiaomi Fold 2 any day of the week granted it has no IP rating, Flex mode and no camera on the inner screen none of which of bother save for the software experience!
Bottomline Software aside from my perspective Xiaomi Fold 2 is currently the best Fold phone to date! Hopefully Samsung takes design cue from Mix Fold 2 for next years Galaxy Z Fold 5.
Tip, if you have Youtube Vanced installed then you can zoom video and fill up the entire inner screen.

Got mine yesterday as well - so much to love about it but I would say that the biggest negative (particularly compared to Samsung Fold 2) is not having an inner camera ... the software is also not anywhere near as refined as Samsung. The launcher is terrible but it seems Nova works really well with fold so far. I'm sure I will have difficulties when I finally get around to pairing my Samsung Watch and AA ...

I've learned that if you have MIUI optimizations disabled in developer settings that the chinese keyboard shows with every reboot.Is there any way to prevent the default Chinese keyboard from reappearing after each reboot?
i'm not sure if there is any way to get around this - I haven't found one. there should be a magisk module to prevent it but I haven't found one.

I was a long time user of Nova until I switched to Galaxy Fold 2 that it wasn't compatible with Fold devices so had to get used to using Samsung's default launcher.
Yes Nova works on this however it breaks the gesture navigation which I like granted there is a workaround by using 3rd party gesture control provided adb permission is given for it to work properly, which haven't got around to doing it for this. I'll probably do this later in the meantime I have setup the MIUI default launcher to my liking after a lot of tinkering in the settings so for now I'm ok with it.
