请问如何正确增加 vmware workstation 中 VM 的 CPU 核？

host 是 i9 12900h ，64G 内存，win11
新建了一个 win10 的 vm ，Number of processors:2, Number of cores per processor:2.
现在想提升 vm 的 cpu 性能，但是我在设置里无论是增加 Number of processors ，还是增加 Number of cores per processor 都会造成 vm 异常卡顿。点击右键都需要等 20s 才有响应。关机将 cpu 设置改回，重启可解决。
还有一个小问题就是在 vm 的设备管理器上不显示 gpu ，不知是否正常。印象中应该有一个虚拟 gpu 。虚拟机不打游戏不渲染工程，就是不知道有个虚拟 gpu 是否会增强日常使用体验。可能是我配置不对。
