据官方消息，区块链游戏工作室Gala Games近日宣布了「Project GYRI」的发布计划及相关内容，表示目前正在研发在以太坊主网之外的「P2E游戏专用」的区块链主网GYRI。Gala Games表示，「GYRI是第一次为专为链游玩家设计」，并「提供高质量的游戏优先体验」。此前消息，Gala Games证实，将在未来一年内拨款50亿美元拓展其NFT等产品。在分配给Gala Games NFT扩张计划的50亿美元资金中，预计20亿美元将用于游戏，10亿美元将用于该工作室的音乐产品，10亿美元将用于电影，10亿美元将用于Gala主题公园NFT。
据介绍，Gala Games创立于 2018 年，旨在成为一个去中心化的游戏生态系统，做链游领域的Steam，向用户提供他们真正想玩的区块链游戏，继而将传统的游戏用户带入链游、元宇宙的世界。Gala Games 代总市值在 P2E 游戏公司中排名第四，仅次于 Decentraland、The Sandbox 和 Axie Infinity。
