Sixth Tone 首届英文非虚构写作大赛启动
2021年10月27日，澎湃新闻旗下的中国首家全数字英文新媒体第六声（Sixth Tone）面向全球启动首届英文非虚构写作大赛（Sixth Tone China Writing Contest）。
本届大赛邀请到来自国内外文学、学术及媒体界的八位重量级终审评委，他们分别是：长期报道中国的美国《纽约客》记者Peter Hessler（何伟）；德国马克斯·普朗克社会人类学研究所所长项飙；纪录片导演及前战地记者周轶君；美国哥伦比亚大学新闻学院教授及资深国际新闻记者Howard W. French（傅好文）；英国美食作家Fuchsia Dunlop（扶霞·邓洛普）；《单读》主编吴琦；双语小说及非虚构作者钱佳楠；关注中国非虚构写作的荷兰莱顿大学学者Tabitha Speelman（施云涵）。八位评委将基于文章内容、写作质量和公共价值进行评价，最终决选出特等奖一名，一、二、三等奖共6名，及读者人气奖一名，奖金总计超12万元。
首届大赛主题为“世代”（Generations）。文章可以通过个人故導、家族记事、新闻特稿、调查研究等形式呈现，亦可以是跨越不同世代共同写作的故事。参赛者可直接用英文写作，或将中文稿件转化为英文提交。投稿期限至2022年4月30日截止。大赛详细细则可参见Sixth Tone官网。
