搜狗完成私有化交易，宣布与腾讯合并

搜狗发布公告宣布与腾讯完成合并。合并完成后，搜狗将成为腾讯控股间接全资子公司，并完成退市。
公告称，基于搜狗与 THL A21 Limited（THL）、TitanSupernova Limited（母公司）、Tencent Mobility Limited（TML）于 2020 年 9 月 29 日签署的合并协议和计划、2020 年 12 月 1 日的修订、2021 年 7 月 19 日进一步修订协议及其项下与之相关的协议，母公司将与搜狗合并，搜狗将作为存续公司继续运营。合并完成后，搜狗将成为腾讯控股间接全资子公司，并完成退市。
据腾讯内部人士透露，搜狗退市后，合并将进入实质阶段。此前搜狗有独立的产品矩阵，成为腾讯全资子公司后， 其原有的搜索、AI、输入法等业务和浏览器、阅读等产品将会和 PCG 的同类产品并轨、团队合一。
