Byju’s再获1.5亿美元融资，今年总融资达16.5亿美元

据外媒报道，印度估值最高的独角兽 Byju’s 已经完成规模为 1.5 亿美元的融资，目前估值已超过 168.7 亿美元。此轮融资由 Asmaan Ventures 领投，Mirae Asset 和 ARK Ncore 参投。
外媒表示，此次融资应该是 Byju’s 另一轮大规模融资的一部分，而筹集的资金将用于收购，其中包括对 Toppr、Great Learning 和 GradeUp 的收购。有关人士表示，完成 1.5 亿美元的融资后，Byju’s 明年或计划在美国上市。
至此，Byju’s 已经在 2021 年筹集了 16.5 亿美元，收购了 8 家公司。此外，之前还有传闻称 Byju’s 将收购同行 Vedantu，但是后者联合创始人兼总裁对此表示否认。
与此同时，Byju’s 还在近期发布了 2020 财年的财政报告。该报告显示，Byju’s 的营收在 2020 年暴增 82.31%。相比 2019 财年，营收从 1775 万美元飙升至 3228 万美元。但其亏损也增大了 30 倍，达到 356 万美元。只不过正是因为盈利暴增，Byju’s 在扩大规模的同时也可以大举收购。
有关媒体表示，Byju’s 70% 的收入都是通过售卖已装载内部学习内容的硬件（平板和 SD 卡）。目前，该公司 2021 的财政报告还未发布。
